Summary

The Construction Foreperson is responsible for leading landscape construction installs. Bringing exceptional leadership and time management skills, the Construction Foreperson will guide their team through various construction projects, providing them with the skills and motivation to complete all tasks on time, on budget and safely, while exercising their strong knowledge in construction best practices to ensure that all projects have been completed to the highest standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have informal/formal training and experience in the field of Horticulture, Landscape Design / Construction or related field
  • Must have experience in a leadership position
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge in landscape and construction best practices and able to interpret drawings
  • Experience in installations involving natural stone, walkways, precast, excavation, and planting designs
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with a variety of power tools and equipment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead a small crew
  • Able to operate a skid steer and excavator
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid 'G' driver's license with a clean abstract
