Arbtech is seeking a Horticulture Specialist to join the team!
Arbtech is a locally owned and operated Company serving residential and commercial clients in a variety of essential tree services, ranging from formative pruning to complete removal. Arbtech strives to exceed the expectations of all clients by offering single source solutions to tree care issues. We pride ourselves on upholding a high level of professionalism and maintaining clean and organized job sites.
Arbtech is growing! We are adding an ethical Gardening division to the Company to provide high quality pruning and garden maintenance to better serve our client’s needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage team’s performance, provide training, coaching and development
- Undertake tree, shrub, and plant examination and treatment
- Inspect, handle, and transport nursery stock
- Care for growing plants by watering, pruning, weeding, cultivating, fertilizing, and removing dead or damaged tissue
- Plant seeds, bulbs, perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years experience in the horticulture field
- Horticulture Diploma or equivalent is required
- Extensive knowledge of tree and plant care
- Positive, professional, team player attitude
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Valid G Driver’s license is required
