Ghent Landscape is currently seeking motivated individuals looking to join our growing commercial landscape construction team as a Sr. Estimator/Project Manager. This individual will work closely with our VP of Operations and will be responsible for overseeing the commercial landscape construction division. This is a full-time permanent position.
Salary:$80,000 - $95,000/yr, dependent on experience

Responsibilities
- Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Facilitate closing of bids
- Contract management
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget
- Oversee Jr. Estimators and review all of their bids/estimates
- Work with the Site Supervisor to schedule the job, order materials and track on site production
- Concise and professional client communication
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Other duties will be assigned as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, excavating or a related industry
- Minimum 5 years of estimating/project management experience
- CET or landscape architectural educational background is preferred
- Hands on construction experience is considered a strong asset
- Ability to read and understand project specifications, drawings and details
- Must be a highly effective and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills
- Must be punctual and personable
- Must obtain WHMIS and Health and Safety training
