Job Duties:
Grounds Superintendent related to the landscape gardening industry. We expect that our Grounds Superintendent will work with the utmost care and efficiency so as to reflect workmanship. The below is intended only as a general description and should be considered as a minimal in order to fulfill this job role. Job duties are subject to job role additions and changes at any time.
- Knowledge of site including operation and location of important items (i.e. alarm panels, alarm codes, roof hatches, fire hydrants, utility and electrical rooms, catch basins, water meters);
- Familiarity with contractual scope of work.
- Proven dedication and motivation.
- Ability to make quick, smart decisions.
- Necessary attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HVAC and general construction practice.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Horticultural Studies; Construction; Landscape; Applied Technology or Construction Management; is an asset.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in a similar role;
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
