Planting Supervisor

Summary: 

The successful applicant would be responsible for the implementation of all off-site tree installations. This person would report to the Planting Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Planting, Nursery, Sales manager, and Dispatch
• Ensure orders are loaded accurately
• Manage and guide planting crew
• Communicate with clients on site
• Review locates while on site to ensure conflicts are avoided
• Implement the planting plan and warranty projects in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily reports for all sites completed and submit to the Planting Manager

Requirements

The successful applicant would be required to have:

• Advanced Horticultural knowledge
• Basic construction experience
• Equipment operation experience
• Valid Ontario G Class licence (A/Z preferred)
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) experience
• Ability to work extended hours including Saturdays when required
• Ability to work in a group atmosphere
• Ability to adapt
• Organized

Recommendations

The successful applicant would be recommended to have:

• Advanced equipment operation experience
• Diploma or certificate in horticultural or related industry
• Advanced Smart Vendor POS experience

Compensation

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
